How is fair trade coffee fair while unfair coffee is unfair and why do we treat foreign farmers better than US?

I know we should feel sorry for all the farmers in third world countries. *boo hoo* But what about farmers here in the us? There were shrimperman in the us that went outta business because of the asian markets where china polutes our food and polutes our babies with baby toys. I mean if you see something made in america why dont you buy that. What is wrong with you liberal hippies? If you hate america so much why not leave?
