Love/ friendship advice?

I have been single for four years now. I'm gay; and gay guys are infamously known for hooking up with other random guys, which I think is disgusting, so I don't that. so four years of no , dating, not even a kiss. I've been feeling a little down now. I feel like I have no one. My best friend, she has been dating this guy and is totally infatuated with him, and seems to forget about life before him, so I really don't have any one to hang out with. I tired setting up a profile on match.com and was only interested in one guy on the site. I sent him a message and he response and says "im looking for someone older.." I told a friend that and he told me that the guy probably thought I was ugly or something. I did gain 80 pounds in two years, I didn't have much to do but eat. And that makes me feel really ugly. im going through a plethora of emotions, I wish someone could offer me some decent advice. it would be really helpful. thanks.
