Ollies grr?

ok im a beginner girl skateborder and i really injoy it so dont give me sh|t , i need help on my ollies ! it seems that when i try to do them its had to slide my foot up do u think its b/c of my grip tape? i also ahve a heavy board would a lighter board be better? where can i get one? i got this junk at miejer its a mongoose board
