Why do conservative christians believe obama is the antichrist?

I think it is absolutely ridiculous. I have heard some people say this and they are of course the brainwashed type of ignorant republican who believes everything they hear. What do you think of this and if you do believe this what can you say that could convince someone without sounding completely anti-christian yourself!!
